The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to work directly with the CTO and founders to build the first product, establish the architecture, and set the engineering bar.

You’ll be the first (or one of the first) engineers. You’ll ship real products quickly, own features end-to-end, and help define how we build as we grow.

What You’ll Do

Build end-to-end features across frontend, backend, and integrations.
Work with the CTO to design and evolve our architecture, data model, and APIs.
Implement secure, reliable workflows for document ingestion, processing, and output.
Turn fuzzy requirements into shipped features by working directly with founders and early users.
Set up and refine engineering practices: testing, code review, CI/CD, observability.
Make early calls on stack, infrastructure (AWS), and where/when we use AI/LLMs.
Help shape the engineering culture and future hiring — who we bring in and how we work.

Who You Are

A strong full-stack engineer with experience shipping production systems.
A self-starter who doesn’t wait for perfect specs — you clarify, decide, and execute.
Comfortable with React/Next.js (or similar) on the frontend and Node/Python/Go on the backend.
Solid foundation in databases (Postgres), REST/GraphQL APIs, and cloud (AWS preferred).
You thrive in a rapid-paced environment and like owning problems, not just tickets.
Good judgment about when to move fast vs. when to build something that will last.
Clear communicator who can work directly with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Experience with OCR/LLM workflows (Textract, OpenAI, Graphs etc.) or vector search.
Background in early-stage startups or small, senior engineering teams.
Familiarity with Terraform or other IaC, logging/monitoring, and multi-tenant SaaS patterns.
