Dallas public adjuster: commercial, hail & fire claims.

Dallas–Fort Worth sits in one of the most active hail corridors in the country. When the carrier underpays, delays, or denies your hail, fire, wind, or water claim, our public adjusters step in. We specialize in commercial and HOA property across the DFW metro and document the full loss independently, before any contractor estimate goes to the insurer.

  • No upfront cost. We only get paid when you recover.
  • Commercial, HOA & homeowner claims across DFW.

    Reality of Dallas claims

DFW sits in the North Texas hail corridor. It almost always takes a public adjuster to get full value.

Dallas–Fort Worth is hit by hail repeatedly, with a spring peak from April through June and a fall filing peak in October and November. Commercial roofs, retail strips, and HOA communities along the Tollway corridor and the suburban buildout take the brunt of it. The insurance company's adjuster works for the carrier, often using preferred-contractor scopes that come in below full replacement cost.

Texas has no matching statute, so whether the insurer owes full-area replacement depends entirely on your policy's "like kind and quality" loss-settlement language. Many DFW property managers accept a partial payout without knowing their policy may support a broader scope. Independent documentation creates the strongest basis for the full claim.

Fort Worth is an immediate adjacency, and it's underserved. We cover Fort Worth, Arlington, and Plano alongside Dallas, which means faster response and less friction on claims across the metro.
    • Licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance
    • We document the full scope independently, before the contractor estimate goes to the insurer
    • We specialize in commercial and HOA property with complex policies
    • We work exclusively for policyholders, never for insurance companies
    • Full DFW coverage, including underserved Fort Worth

    Ways We Can Help

The carrier's playbook on Dallas claims is to pay less than you're owed, drag out the timeline, or deny the claim outright. We have decades of experience and fight all three.

    Did they underpay your claim?

The carrier pays, but far less than the damage actually costs to repair. We document the full scope independently and push the settlement to where it should be.

Is your claim stuck or delayed?

Weeks turn into months while the carrier stalls and buries you in requests. We take over the process and hold them to the §542 prompt-payment timelines.

    Was your claim denied outright?

A denial is not the end. We reopen the claim, re-document what was missed, and fight to overturn it, with TDI's complaint process as a backstop.

We have expertise on all building types:

    • Office Buildings
    • Retail & Restaurants
    • Industrial & Warehouse
    • Hospitality & Lodging
    • Healthcare Facilities
    • HOA & Multi-Family
    • Self-Storage
    • REITs & Funds

    Texas Insurance Law

What Dallas policyholders need to know.

Texas law gives property owners more leverage than most carriers let on. Here's the background that matters for a DFW claim. This is general information, not legal advice.

    01

Public adjusters are licensed by TDI

Anyone working your Dallas claim as a public adjuster must be licensed by the Texas Department of Insurance. You can verify any adjuster before you sign. JustClaims is a licensed Texas public adjuster representing DFW property owners.

    02

    Matching is a policy question

Texas has no matching statute. Whether the insurer owes full-area replacement depends on your policy's "like kind and quality" language, not state law. We review that language and document the full scope independently.

    03

    Prompt-payment timelines (§542)

Your insurer must acknowledge within 15 calendar days, then accept or reject within 15 business days of receiving all documentation, extendable by 45 days with written notice. We hold them to the clock.

    04

    Fees are capped and contingency-based

Texas law caps public adjuster fees at 10% of the total settlement. JustClaims works on contingency, with no upfront cost and a 72-hour right to cancel after signing. No recovery, no fee.

JustClaims provides public adjusting services, not legal advice. For legal questions, consult a licensed Texas attorney.

    For DFW Contractors

We actively partner with Dallas roofing and restoration companies.

Contractors are some of our best partners. We quarterback the insurance side, keep you in the loop, and never cut you out. Under Texas law, contractors can't negotiate the claim, so a licensed public adjuster is the compliant way to get your scope approved and paid.

    Roofers

Commercial and residential roofers and storm-restoration crews across the DFW hail corridor.

    Restoration

Water mitigation, fire and smoke restoration, and disaster recovery firms.

    General Contractors

Commercial builders, multi-family and property renovation firms, and large-loss rebuild specialists.

    Common QuestionsAbout Dallas Public Adjusters

Not automatically. Texas has no matching statute, so whether the insurer owes full-area replacement depends on your policy's specific "like kind and quality" loss-settlement language. A public adjuster reviews that language, documents the full scope of damage independently, and builds the strongest case for the broadest replacement your policy supports.

Texas law caps fees at 10% of the total claim settlement, per TDI. JustClaims works on contingency, no upfront cost, no fee unless we recover or increase your settlement. Under Texas law, you have 72 hours after signing to cancel the contract.

Yes, and it's one of our most common engagements in DFW. We conduct per-unit inspections across every affected building, prepare a consolidated scope of loss, and present it directly to the insurer. We coordinate with your board and property manager throughout, and can attend board meetings to walk through the findings.

Your insurer's adjuster, staff or independent, works to protect the insurer's interests. JustClaims is licensed by TDI to represent only you. We document damage independently, without using preferred contractors or insurer-approved scope templates. The difference shows up in the settlement.

Yes. JustClaims covers the full DFW metro, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Irving, Garland, and Mesquite. Fort Worth in particular is underserved: no dedicated public adjuster has built a presence there, which means faster response and less friction on claims.

No. A denial is not final. JustClaims can review the basis for the denial, identify grounds for reconsideration, and re-submit with independent documentation. You can also file a complaint with TDI at 800-252-3439 if you believe the denial was improper.
